Sprint unveils two new Android smartphones with enhanced business-ready capabilities from Motorola, the XPRT and Titanium. Both devices have bar-type form factor and full QWERTY keyboard. The former is Sprint’s version of DROID Pro and is the first Android smartphone from Sprint to deliver enterprise-class security, personal productivity enhancements and international roaming; while the Titanium leverages Sprint’s industry-leading Push-to-Talk capabilities as the first Nextel Direct Connect smartphone built on Android 2.1.

The Motorola XPRT is powered by 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.2. It delivers business-class security features with 256-bit AES data encryption. The phone features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with camcorder and dual LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a microSD card slot. The XPRT is a world phone supporting both CDMA (EVDO Rev. A) and GSM/UMTS (HSPA) networks and includes 3G Mobile Hotspot capability, supporting up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously.
The Motorola Titanium, on the other hand, is the successor to the Motorola i1 and supports Nextel Direct Connect Services. It is certified to Military Specification 810G for dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temperature and low temperature. The rugged QWERTY phone runs Android 2.1 and sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with camcorder and flash, Bluetooth, GPS support, WiFi and microSD slot.
The Motorola XPRT will be available for $129.99 with two-year service agreement, and the pricing and availability for Motorola Titanium will be announced at a later date.
